Settings

The Settings page is where you configure society-wide options. Changes here apply to every trip.

Participants love group chats! Enter your permanent WhatsApp invite URL (e.g. https://chat.whatsapp.com/ABCDEFG1234). When present, the system automatically:

  1. Shows a Join Group button in ticket e-mails.
  2. Adds the link to the My Details page so members can join later.

You can update or remove the URL at any time.

Committee Members List

For transparency you can maintain a list of committee members separate from admin rights.

  1. Click Add Member.
  2. Search and select the user.
  3. They now appear in the table but do not automatically gain admin rights.

Remove members with the Remove button.

Good to Know

  • Only admins can access the Settings page.
  • Updates take effect instantly – no need to save elsewhere.
  • Keeping the WhatsApp link up to date reduces last-minute e-mail enquiries.
