Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Do participants need to install anything?

No. All they need is the ticket e-mail (PDF/PNG) with their QR code. The scanner is browser-based for volunteers.


2. Can we use paper lists instead of QR codes?

The system is designed around QR codes for speed and accuracy. However, you can manually mark attendance on the Trip page if the QR is lost.


One hour. Generate a fresh link if the event is delayed.


4. A student bought multiple tickets – is that allowed?

Yes. Each spreadsheet row or SU purchase line creates a separate ticket. The system will e-mail one QR per ticket.


5. Where is the data stored?

On the society's secure hosting provider in the EU. Access is restricted to admins only.


6. I found a bug – what now?

Please open an issue on GitHub or contact the technical officer with steps to reproduce and a screenshot.
